Study Visit | PA 7101 Decentralization and Local Governance Master’s degree students in the Politics and Development Strategy program (Online, Cohorts 1–2) participated in an off-site study visit on March 28–29, 2026, at two key learning sites:
📍 Site 1 | RDF Fuel Power Plant, Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC)
Students learned about the process of converting waste into fuel and generating electricity—an actual example of local resource management linked to national energy policy.
📍 Site 2 | Ban Phai Community Waste Management Learning Center
Students explored a community-based waste management model, demonstrating decentralization where citizens actively participate in self-governance.
🎓 This study visit provided students with the opportunity to connect theories of decentralization and local governance with real-world contexts, encompassing environmental, energy, and community participation dimensions.
