
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Li Renliang, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs of the Graduate School of Social Development and Management Strategy, NIDA, organized an academic seminar and the launch of the book “50 Years of Thai–Chinese Relations (1975–2025).”
The event was honored by the presence of several distinguished guests, including Mr. Abhisit Vejjajiva, former Prime Minister of Thailand; Prof. Dr. Tipawan Lorsuwannarat, President of the Institute; Mr. Zhao Mengtao, Counselor of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Thailand; Prof. Fu Zhengyou, Senior Advisor to the Confucius Institute of Chulalongkorn University; and Mr. Chun Pailindilert, President of the Thai–Chinese Young Entrepreneurs Association. They attended the opening ceremony held on 8 July 2025 at the Dr. Somsak and Khunying Pattama Leeswadtrakul Auditorium, Siam Boromrajakumari Building.
The seminar, under the theme “Thai–Chinese Cultural Cooperation,” featured distinguished speakers from various fields who shared insights across key dimensions, including politics and security, trade and investment, and cooperation in social, cultural, scientific, and technological domains. The discussions reflected broad perspectives and valuable experiences that contribute to strengthening Thai–Chinese relations toward a closer partnership and a shared future—advancing stability, prosperity, and sustainability for both nations.
