The National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), in collaboration with the Rainbow Sky Association of Thailand and a wide network of partners from the public, private, and civil society sectors, organized the “We All Pride Thailand 2025 @Bangkapi” parade to celebrate equality. The parade commenced at NIDA and proceeded along Seri Thai Road, passing the Bangkapi intersection, and heading toward The Mall Bangkapi in Bangkok. The event was officially opened by the Governor of Bangkok.
Mr. Kittinan Thammathat, President of the Rainbow Sky Association of Thailand, stated that Thailand first launched the “We All Pride Thailand” celebration in 2022 to promote equality in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The 2025 parade featured four themed processions reflecting the Association’s core objectives: “We All Love,” “We All Understand,” “We All Dignity,” and “We All Equality.”
Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok, remarked that achieving equality requires continued efforts, emphasizing that acceptance of gender diversity should be embedded in individuals from the family level to educational institutions and workplaces. He further highlighted the importance of embracing diversity in all dimensions, including differences in thought, age, and disability.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Jaray Singhakowinta added that the event represents a collaborative effort among multiple sectors, including civil society, to promote and advance equality in society.
