Prof.Dr.Surasit Vajirakachorn

He is an expert in Public Policy Analysis and Strategic Planning, Project Evaluation, and Local Government. As the experiences in Public Policy Analysis and Strategic Planning, he therefore had been appointed as a consultant to the Minister of The Ministry of Social Development and Human Security (MDHS) and appointed as the Dean of School of Social and Environmental Development (NIDA) for 2 periods since October 1st ,  2007 – September 30th , 2013. He has also created the outstanding academic works which admired in the national level; for example, Government Action Plan and Strategic Plan Preparation for The Department of Employment in Songkla and Pattani province. Besides, he has offered the academic services to many organizations both national and international levels. He has been invited as an academic consultant to MDHS on “Strategic Plan Preparation Project” for fiscal year 2012-2016 and “Research Project on Improvement Ways of Oil Palm Industry and Palm Oil Structure of Thailand” in Indonesia.  He has currently appointed as Program Director of Doctoral Degree in Social Development of School of Social and Environmental Development (NIDA).
